CursorGleam Privacy Policy
Updated October 27, 2026 · Website edition
On your Mac
CursorGleam operates 100% locally on your Mac. It never records your screen, monitors keystrokes, or tracks mouse history. Local preferences stay strictly on your device.
Cursor effects use transparent overlay windows. The app does not capture screen pixels, record keystrokes, or save a history of mouse movement or click coordinates. Click feedback may require macOS input permission to detect clicks while other apps are active.
Settings and trial records
Appearance settings, shortcuts and preferences are saved locally. Trial start dates and clock-validation records are stored in macOS Keychain. These records can survive removal of the app; reinstalling does not reset the trial. The current website edition does not create an online account, use StoreKit, collect payment details, or contact a developer-operated license server.
Your controls
You can turn effects off, quit or uninstall the app, and revoke input permissions in macOS System Settings. Uninstalling may leave preferences, the app's data container, Keychain records, downloaded installers or backups. Manage those copies locally; removing local records does not grant a new trial or license.
Support and website visits
If you email us, we receive the message and any attachments you choose to send. Share only what is necessary to investigate the issue. Website hosting, downloads and support email are separate from the app's local processing. Read the store privacy policy for those details.
